How do I indent lines in insert mode?

In insert mode, you can press the CTRL-T key to insert one shiftwidth of indent at the start of the current line. In insert mode, you can use the CTRL-D key to delete on shiftwidth of indent at the start of the current line. You can also use the CTRL-O >> and CTRL-O << commands to indent the current line in insert mode.
