How do I create multi-line abbreviations?

You can create multi-line abbreviations by embedding the “<CR>” key code in the text:

    iabbrev #c ---------------- Date:-----------

With the above abbreviation, when you type #c, it will be expanded to the following text:

————–

– Date: –

———
